With the phenomena of one third of all adults are living a night owl lifestyle, running in the morning seem like a dream to most of the people. A lot of them are passionate to become a morning runner but fail to start or failed after few days. Yes, become a morning runner is not easy but with some efforts and never give up, one day you will love & enjoy the habit. If you truly wish to practice the habit, here are some tips for you to begin your morning run:
Think positively
Most of the people can’t take the first step to start because they tend to think it is too late to start, they can’t change their habit, no time and lots more. It is never too late to practice a new habit, a lot of morning runners out there struggle at the beginning as well, but now they are enjoying the habit and you will definitely be able to do it too.
From night owl to early bird
To be able to sleep early, you’ll need to force yourself to wake up early and avoid afternoon nap. Turn your alarm to the time you wish to wake up and put it far away from your bed to force yourself get out of your bed. You’ll need a bath and breakfast to avoid you to go back to bed again. For first few days to one week, you will definitely feel very tired but it is just few days, endure it to get what you want in the end!
Date your buddy
To make sure you won’t easily give up for a morning run, date someone to run together. You’ll less likely to be absent because you know someone is there waiting for you. Getting buddy to run together also let you have more fun and get motivated at the same time.
Get ready the night before
Prepare your running gear such as running wear, shoe and water bottle the night before to make you sleep in determined mind. Get ready the night before also give you more reason to wake up in the morning as you already prepare everything and don’t want the effort to go wasted.
Set a goal
Establishing a goal for your run will take you further with the sense of accomplishment when you achieve the goal. Sign up for a race can be helpful in setting a goal as well; You might want to run better with shorter time in every next race.
Be committed
Last but not least, commitment is the most important tip to form the morning run habit. If you always want to take a rest and slack off, one day you might stop running completely. Do it consistently for a few months and it will get easier day by day!

Indeed it’s been a long three years journey for our blog and it’s time to continue that journey further ahead. This year will be an eventful year for Amnig. Therefore, there will be plenty of stuffs to talk about, excited? You should be.
Among the upcoming events that will cover here is the ONE Championship (ONE FC), one of Asia’s biggest mixed martial art event. ONE FC is hosted in Singapore and China and broadcasted to over 75 countries where 1 billion people sit behind their TVs to enjoy the fights.
The next ONE FC (Age of Champions) fighting event set on the 13th of March, and will be hosted at Stadium Putra in KL. The event will feature a number of fierce fighters including Riku Shibuya, Igor Svirid and Adriano Moraes. If you are sports fan, you may not want to miss this it. ‘King of the Badminton court’, Dato’ Lee Chong Wei, before winning his 2nd Olympic Silver Medal for Malaysia in 2012 and 2008 Olympic Games for Men’s Single Event, Chong Wei had announced that his intentions to get married. This fortunate lady is, Wong Mew Choo, a fellow badminton player. The love birds battled 11 years and a small break up in between before the intentions of committing themselves for a life time. While Yiu Lin is managing a brand, shop and coaching children squash and managing not one but three squash academy in Sarawak and Terengganu is Mohd Azlan.
